Settings
The Settings section holds global system configuration that applies across the deployment.
Configuration areas
| Area | What it configures |

| SMTP | Email server used for alerts and notifications. |
| Metrics Engine | The URL of the metrics server that powers Operations and Reports. |
| Recording | Global session-recording settings that complement per-policy recording. |
| Server Config | Read-only server information for reference and support. |
Getting the basics right
- Configure SMTP so licence and operational alerts reach your team.
- Point the Metrics Engine at the correct URL, or Operations and Reports will appear empty.
- Review Recording settings alongside your Recording Policy so the two are consistent.
Tip
If Operations or Reports show no data, the Metrics Engine URL is the first thing to check here.
