Groups

Groups are the entitlement mechanism. Rather than assigning workspaces and applications to individuals, you assign them to groups and add users to those groups. This keeps access manageable as your deployment grows.

Built-in groups

everyoneAll users; already granted access to the default workspace.

Assigning access to a group

  1. Open Groups and create a group or select an existing one.
  2. Add users to the group.
  3. Assign workspaces (and through them, applications) to the group.
  4. Assign a policy set where appropriate so the group's sessions run with the right controls.
Groups sit between users and the workspaces, applications, and policies they grant.
Tip

Model groups on roles or departments (for example, finance or support-readonly). Role-shaped groups make quarterly access reviews far easier.
