Applications

An application is a published Windows executable that can be streamed to a user's browser. Applications are assigned to workspaces, and workspaces are granted to groups.

Built-in presets

To get started quickly, WebStream includes presets for common Windows tools: Notepad, WordPad, Paint, Explorer, and PowerShell. Presets are useful for validating a workspace before you publish your own line-of-business application.

Application fields

Name shown to users.
Executable path on the session host.
Arguments passed at launch.
Icon path for the workspace tile.
Status (active) and published flag.
